Consumers: changing your mind

For most eligible online purchases, consumers have 14 days from the day after receiving goods to notify us that they wish to cancel. They then normally have another 14 days to send goods back. Exceptions may apply to certain products under the law. Contact enquirys@joblots.co.uk with your order number and a clear cancellation request.

We refund eligible payments, including the basic outbound delivery cost where required, within the applicable legal time limits. We may wait until we receive the goods back or receive evidence of their return where the law allows. Where clearly disclosed before purchase and permitted by law, the customer is responsible for the direct cost of returning unwanted goods. Handling beyond what is necessary to inspect goods may permit a lawful deduction.

Consumers: faulty or misdescribed goods

Consumer goods must meet applicable legal requirements, taking account of condition and any specific defects clearly disclosed before sale. Graded, returned, clearance or untested stock is not automatically excluded from statutory remedies. Please contact us if an item is faulty, not as described, damaged or incorrect. We will provide remedies and return arrangements required by law.

Business customers

Business purchases do not automatically carry consumer distance-selling cancellation rights. Change-of-mind returns for trade purchases are available only if agreed before purchase. Business customers retain applicable contractual and legal rights, including rights arising from inaccurate descriptions and any non-excludable obligations.

When returning a bundle, contact us first so we can identify the affected items and appropriate return arrangements. The applicable legal rights depend on the reason for return and whether you are a consumer or business buyer.
